Our highly skilled reception and care navigation team are often the first point of contact with the practice.

They have received significant training to enable them to support patients in accessing the most appropriate care to meet their identified needs. This may not always be an appointment with one of the clinicians within the practice – a lot of health concerns can be safely managed by other services and often do not require the involvement of a GP or a nurse.

We also have a number of administrative and secretarial roles that support the day to day functioning of the practice, managing incoming letters (around 100 a day!), processing prescription requests (several thousand items a week) and processing referrals to secondary care.

Marie has worked within primary care for more than 10 years and possesses a unique and varied set of skills and is a real asset to the practice.

Marie’s talent was spotted very quickly up on her appointment and therefore she experienced rapid promotions to the role of Deputy Practice Manager. During her free time Marie focuses her attention on her family, of whom she is rightfully very proud
